Conceptual photography fundamentally is the photographer trying to transmit a message or “concept”. Usually this message is conveyed through some theoretical symbolism which can be interpreted by the viewer. Even though most photographers have a specific meaning they are trying to get across, usually the image can be interpreted in many different ways. This kind of photography often involves use of computer editing to achieve the desired effects, but many artists work without the computer. Usually the conception of the idea precedes the realization of the photography. Whatever the technique, conceptual photography is known to be one of the most creative genre of photography.

Quote of the Day
We pay a price for everything we get or take in this world; and although ambitions are well worth having, they are not to be cheaply won, but exact their dues of work and self-denial, anxiety and discouragement.
Lucy Maud Montgomery (1874-1942) |
